The Jug Stays at LHS!

Wow! Friday Night was great! We kept the L’il Brown Jug for another year and we extended our supremacy in the 86 year battle to 46-36-4. For the 2007 season, that makes two games down, eight to go. It’s great to be a Laurel Tornado!

The inaugural tailgate at Watkins Woods was a huge success. A Big Thanks to Jerry Gilbreath for the use of his property; and a special word of thanks to Jamal Bender, Malcolm Carmichael and Stan Riles for their extra efforts in readying the site. Donnie Bergin helped out above and beyond the call of duty with his front-loader. Thanks also to Bo Asmar, Bob Billingsley, Eric Green, Richard Green, and Jeff Moss for their generous assistance.

A Mighty Golden Tornadoes’ thank you goes out to Kim Hosey for a great looking Program/Media Guide. The new Programs look great. Be sure to tell Kim how much you appreciate her extra efforts.

Don’t forget to get your Centennial T-Shirts and LHS Auto Flags. Flags and Shirts are both $10 each. Thanks to Pam Sampson for her help in getting the job done. Shirts and flags will available for purchase at the regular Tuesday meeting at the LHS Library, and at the Biloxi game Friday night.
